Schedule your Donations
Regularly scheduled donations provide a consistent and stable income stream. This predictability allows us to plan for the long term, allocate resources effectively, and maintain essential services.
The Community Food Pantry of Spring Green is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Charitable Distributions
from your 401k or IRA
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a donation from your IRA or 401k. There is a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). The retirement account owner must be the age of 70 1/2 or older. The annual QCD limit is $100,000 per account owner. The limit can exceed the annual RMD.
Your QCD reduces the amount of taxes you pay from RMD to the fullest extend of the law. Most types of IRAs qualify, traditional IRA, rollover IRA, inherited IRA, inactive SEP and SIMPLE IRAs. Sometimes QCDs from Roth IRAs are allowed.
